1.) Buy flowers that are more exotic looking or different from the standard red roses
2.) Make home goodies instead of buying expensive chocolates
3.) Vacation in your own city and not travel to exotic or faraway getaway
4.) Plan a Picnic
5.) Celebrate on February 15th to avoid the price hikes in restaurant bills and waits
6.) Make Breakfast In Bed or Cook At Home
7.) Visit Websites to compare gift items such as FTD.com, 1800-Flowers, and other flower sites
8.) Write A Love Note
9.) Rent movies or a TV series to watch all throughout the night
10.) Split the costs with other couples that are your friends, or just spend the evening with your family.
