Bobby Farrell, Singer of Group Boney M, Passes

Singer Bobby Farrell of the group Boney M has passed. Farrell had been complaining of breathing problems before his death. Farrell appeared as scheduled in St. Petersburg during a performance; it was after that in which he complained of breathing difficulties.
He had been due to fly to Rome later this week for a television show.
Farrell, who lived in Amsterdam, was also a dancer and showman; was partially a singer when he fronted Boney M in the 1970s and ’80s.
The group topped charts with such hits as”Daddy Cool” and “Sunny” in 1976.
The cause of death of Farrell is not known; however, it is known that Farrell had suffered health problems off-and-on for 10 years.
Farrell was 61.
